MERCK Innovation Centre in Darmstadt

Merck is a leading company for innovative and high-quality high-tech products in the areas of healthcare, life science and performance materials. The factory site comprises two building units: the innovation centre with office workplaces for R&D in the east and the staff restaurant with a variety of shops (bakers, sushi, etc.) in the west. These are connected by a passageway on the ground floor.

Under the LEED certification process carried out by HENN, Alpha IC took over the thermal building simulation according to ASHRAE 90.1 and also guided the Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning.
