In February 2021, the Wilo Group celebrated the opening of its new headquarters in Dortmund: the Wilopark.

It has an area of 200,000 m2 and combines an ultra-modern and digital smart factory, the "Pioneer Cube" office building, a customer service center and product development. The Wilo Group is known for its innovative pumps and pump systems and has firmly anchored the topic of "sustainability" in its corporate strategy with its "Ambition 2025".

A future-oriented operator concept and digitally networked building technology were implemented in the new Wilo headquarters. This means that it is a completely climate-neutral and digitalized production facility. With an investment volume of 300 million euros, it is not only the largest project in the Wilo Group's history, but is also one of the largest industrial construction projects in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to Armin Laschet, the Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel also congratulated Wilo and presented it with the "German Sustainability Award 2021".

Thanks to our experience in the field of "green building" and building and system simulation, we were able to support this exciting project. The project was carried out by our subsidiary ifes IC. Among other things, the office building was certified according to LEED and DNGB and the building and system simulation for the master plan development was carried out.

We are proud to have been able to support this flagship project and would like to congratulate Wilo once again on this amazing success!
