Our new video provides insights into the successful commissioning management for the major construction project New Building 2 of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne. This is a highly complex assessment and research building with a gross floor area of 16,000 m². For this reason, the client commissioned Alpha IC from the very beginning of the execution planning to integrate quality assurance measures into the commissioning and to install an external process for commissioning management (IBM) in the project for this purpose.
In this way, a smooth handover of the building to the operator and the future users by August 2022 could be ensured on schedule. In the end, the individual systems already functioned together in a targeted and optimal manner at the start of use.
