A new health and dental clinic is now on the grounds of the U.S. military base in Katterbach. This combines the basic general medical and dental treatment in one building and is designed for a client base of about 5,500. In addition to requirements in German regulations (HOAI / VOB), the clinic operator required man-agement of commissioning. Alpha IC supported the State Construction Office in Nuremberg in interactions between the American client and the general contractor.

- Integration U.S. requirements into building process
- Link between planning authorities, US Commissioning Manager, general contractor and users
- Function and performance tests on all technical facilities
- Ensured and tested instruction and service manuals
In addition to the VOB-compliant specifications, commissioning requirements and testing, the service provided focused on functional and performance testing together with the American Commissioning Agent for a period of two and a half weeks. During this period, observed shortcomings in systems and control functions were resolved, in part directly by the general contractor. In this way, 80 function deficits which would otherwise have been carried through to the commissioned building were identified and eliminated.
