In addition to the official ALPHA sustainability report made according to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), which was communicated in the middle of this year, Alpha IC has added a declaration of conformity to the DNK. Following a conformity check by the DNK, this has now been published on its online database. Through regular reporting, Alpha IC makes its sustainability management transparent, comparable and visible to its stakeholders over time.

"We are leading the way in establishing a new understanding of values when dealing with real estate and actively communicating our successes and best practices in sustainable development. In doing so, we want to encourage other companies to join us by stimulating competition in sustainable business developmentā€ says Christina Graser, Manager Marketing & CSR at Alpha IC.

Initiated by the Council for Sustainable Development (RNE), the DNK provides a framework for sustainability reporting. It offers companies of various sizes and industries the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. The reporting is based on 20 DNK criteria, which include aspects from corporate management as well as ecological and social aspects. The basis is formed by performance indicators from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the European Federation of Financial Analysts (EFFAS).
