In his greeting, Prof. Klaus Heying from the TH Nuremberg reflected on an exciting GEFMA year and set out a promising outlook for the GEFMA events in 2020 - more structured, exciting, and networked than ever.

Oliver Rose, managing director of KIPS GmbH, presented the major challenges for church building operators in his lecture. Very mixed building stocks need to be managed professionally with a focus on people. The digital world is also finding its way into church real estate, from sacred buildings to day care centres. This was shown by KIPS as future manager for church real estate based on selected projects, using for example the visualization of buildings using laser scans.

Tim Bremstahler, GEFMA Lounge Manager Nuremberg thanked KIPS GmbH and the other sponsors of the regional lounge. Appropriate to the theme of the pre-Christmas event, he closed the meeting with an invitation to enjoy mulled wine and "Bratwurst" at the Nuremberg Christmas market.
