The extension to the inclusive open all-day school "Kretzerstraße" in Cologne-Nippes includes rooms for specialist classes, all-day rooms and an educational center (PZ). The new structures enclose existing buildings and, together with the existing main building, create a protected outdoor area for physical activity and recreation thanks to their U-shape.

The project was planned and implemented by a general contractor on behalf of Gebäudewirtschaft Köln (GWK). Alpha IC was commissioned by GWK as the commissioning manager to manage and monitor the commissioning process. The commissioning manager acts as an external project manager for the client (GWK) and acts on its behalf. The client delegates to him the authority to issue instructions and powers of attorney to the other project participants.

The aim of the IBM is to consider all technical systems of the various trades as a closed technical system and to carry out a comprehensive functional test across all trades in order to prove the required functionality of the entire system. A further objective is to implement the documentation and data maintenance requirements for the City of Cologne's CAFM program to ensure that operator responsibility is maintained from day one.
