Quartier Hohenlind in Cologne is creating living space in the form of small apartments, apartments of various sizes, terraced houses and owner-occupied homes that can be realized according to individual ideas. Once the construction project is completed, a total of around 700 people will find a home there.

In addition to an analysis of energy-related and legal-organizational boundary conditions and a bundling of energy-related requirements (EnEV, EEWärmeG), Alpha IC was commissioned with a rough cost estimate of the investment sum, a comparison of energy supply concepts and a breakdown of previously unused potential in the field of environmental energy for this major project.
