With currently 22 CAFM services that have been certified according to GEFMA 444, the seal of approval of the German Association for Facility Management has established itself as a quality criterion for FM software products. Since the last extension to include a BIM catalogue, ten man-ufacturers have also had it certified, and at the beginning of this year the criteria catalogue now contains two additional components: contract management and workplace management. “GE-FMA 444 makes an important contribution to give users security when looking for IT support for their FM processes. The certificate is now a basic requirement in many CAFM tenders, ”explains Marko Opić from the GEFMA working group on digitization.
