In co-operation with FOM Real Estate GmbH (general contractor), CORPUS SIREO Asset Management Commercial GmbH (owner) is constructing a three-building office complex in the Adlershof district of Berlin. The essential project goal - to achieve a DGNB platinum certification for all buildings - has been achieved now. Alpha IC GmbH has overseen the auditing and provided advice over the entire duration of the project.

Certification

DGNB Platin

  • Regulation / agreement with the DGNB for ensemble certification
  • Optimization of the design to achieve the best possible results in life cycle assessment and life cycle costs
  • Conceptual design for the optimization of process quality
  • Supervision of the planning by means of a sample-based documentary check for the purpose of tracking

With the preparation of a comprehensive pre-assessment, initial requirements were set for the project participants. These were transferred to an agreement about objectives. Solving approaches for the present ensemble certification were also elaborated. A separate meeting with the DGNB sealed this target agreement. Within the framework of several planning meetings, solutions and planning approaches were worked out together with the project team in order to achieve the ambitious overall "platinum" as securely as possible. For this purpose, for example life cycle assessments were conducted as early as possible to optimize the design with respect to sustainability issues. An optimization measure was for example changing the cooling equipment. Sample-like checks on the design documents as well as progress reports ensured that the "Platinum" goal was not lost sight of.
