The Bauhaus-style monument in Mies van der Rohe Park in Krefeld is being used by Interface Deutschland GmbH as a new company location. The challenge was to implement a future-oriented design and work concept in an existing listed building with a consistent focus on sustainability.
The focus of the certification was on the interior spaces, with an increased focus on materials and furnishings in the interior as well as concepts for the optimal use of the premises. ifes GmbH, now Alpha IC GmbH, supported this project as part of the DGNB initial application phase.
