New construction of binservs office building

Binserv GmbH planned the construction of a new office building with 120 to 150 workplaces in Königswinter. The building is to be as energy-autonomous and CO2-neutral as possible, as well as using state-of-the-art technology and innovative technical building equipment. To operate these technologies, an energy-efficient and economical energy and climate concept is to be developed by means of simulation.

The aim of the simulations is an initial dimensioning of the plant technology as well as the energy supply (photovoltaic, fuel cell, solar thermal, wind power, geothermal) as well as the determination and optimization of the degree of self-sufficiency.

One focus was on ensuring the highest possible overlap potential of regenerative electricity production and electricity use by exploiting load shifting and storage potentials.
