The Climate Protection and Sustainable Development Forum of the European Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg was founded by the Council Assembly on 30.04.2010 and deals with the implementation of a decentralized energy transition, among other things. It also aims to promote the implementation of the Climate Pact 2017 and support a professional dialog between local authorities on the topic of climate protection and sustainable development..
Alpha IC is involved in the "Zukunftsfähige Immobilie (IZI)" initiative group. Richard Weller has been supporting projects to build up and exchange knowledge here for around 10 years now, with the aim of promoting the energy- and resource-efficient operation of non-residential buildings in the Nuremberg region. To this end, the initiative group networks different institutions and stakeholders in order to bring them together at events or other activities. A series of five workshops on the topic of "The challenge of climate neutrality for companies" is currently being held to support companies on their way to climate neutrality.
