The Lanxess Tower, formerly MaxCologne, is a high-rise building in the Deutz district of Cologne. The complete conversion of the former Lufthansa high-rise has given the Deutz bank of the Rhine a new urban appearance. Around 1,400 high-quality office workplaces are being created here in a direct city location and with a direct view of Cologne's historic old town and the cathedral. The aim of the revitalization is to achieve optimum comfort for the users with a new façade, an energy-efficient and sustainable energy supply and the use of geothermal energy.
