The Oval - LEED certification

The newly constructed building "The Oval" is located on the property at Hans-Böckler-Strasse 33, Düsseldorf. It has two basement floors with a significantly larger floor area, which are to be used primarily as parking areas in addition to technical rooms. There are a total of six floors above ground, with the 6th floor being a recessed staggered floor with a balcony all around. Heat is generated via a connection to the district heating supply. Cooling is provided by a highly efficient screw chiller. Metal heating/cooling sails are planned for all office areas for heating. Two large ventilation and partial air conditioning systems supply the office areas with 100% outside air and efficient heat recovery.
