We were there!
The housing industry is taking on more and more responsibility for managing living space in an energy-efficient manner and thus counteracting climate change. Against this background, "green with IT e.V." was founded - an association of 20 companies, partners, scientific institutions, SMEs and over 1200 employees from all disciplines. We joined this initiative in 2020 in order to exchange ideas with like-minded people in this network and to participate in interesting projects.
Against this backdrop, the online conference "Housing Industry 4.0 and Climate Change" took place on 24.02.2021. This not only offered space for experts from politics and practice, but also enabled WoWi representatives to be heard in this way for the first time. There were interesting presentations from various areas, such as the future challenges facing the housing industry in the context of digitalization. However, the main focus was on the use of digital applications in building management, such as lighting that is not only equipped with a secure communication module, but also collects telemetric data and makes it available in compliance with data protection regulations. As the digitalization of the FM industry and the topic of smart building and sustainability are key issues in our company, we were represented at the Alpha IC stand to exchange ideas with the participants.
