Michael Dax will be in Cairo on 4-6 April 2019.
Sustainability is a matter of the heart for Alpha IC. Therefore it is natural for us to represent these values not only within the framework of consulting, but also internationally. Michael Dax, Partner at Alpha IC, is partici-pating in this international forum for the third time after Mexico City in 2010 and Mumbai in 2013.
"For me as a sustainability expert, the LafargeHolcim Forum has become a must have! I do not know of any other international conference in which more than 350 actors (from more than 50 countries) in the sustainable building area discuss different formats in an interdisciplinary manner, developing new ideas and seeking potential solutions," says Michael Dax.
The conference series on sustainable construction is an academic platform for architects, engineers, con-struction specialists and students and takes place every three years in a major international city. This year, the forum will be hosted by the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and will discuss the "re-materialization of building".
The aim of the LafargeHolcim Foundation is to raise awareness in society and to anchor reinforce the under-standing that architecture, engineering, urban planning and construction play an important role in shaping a more sustainable future.
