Coronavirus poses major challenges for companies and society as a whole - we are all in the same boat. Alpha IC takes social responsibility and gives priority to the protection of our employees, business partners, and the vulnerable in our society.
At the same time, we have to manage the balancing act between taking this responsibility and maintaining our business through taking the necessary measures in solidarity. Only if we pull together as the ALPHA family will we hopefully all get through this coronavirus crisis without being harmed.
We have kept social contacts to a minimum in the last few weeks. We have provided extensive support for working from home, and we now make our appointments by telephone and video conference. Your contact persons are still available for you under the known contact details. We are all working fully to support clients’ projects. We handle digital customer meetings via Microsoft Teams or Skype. Should there be any re-strictions or delays, we ask for your understanding and will actively look for an individual solution.
After the first weeks in this exceptional situation, we are nevertheless very pleased that this challenge has revealed that we are an agile and location-independent organisation that supports interdisciplinary working. The collaboration between the Alpha IC and ifes colleagues in Cologne is also advancing and everyone is using the wide range of communication options even if we had imagined that the joint start would be a little more personal.
